Jeffrey P. Chagnon

Jeffrey P. Chagnon, 68, of Pawtucket, died November 7, 2025 at the Miriam Hospital.   He was the loving husband of Alice A. (Norteman) Chagnon and husband of the late Lisa Chagnon.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Philip H. Chagnon and Betty L. (Castle) Chagnon.  

Jeff was employed as an auto mechanic with the City of Pawtucket for many years until his retirement.   He loved the outdoors and camping at Bowdish Lake Campground in Chepachet for 25 years.  He also enjoyed genealogy research and his beloved dogs.  

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving sons, Michael J. Chagnon &  his wife Kaisa of Burrillville, Joseph K. Chagnon of Riverside, and his stepchildren, Michael R. Fricker & his wife Cat of San Antonio, TX, Laura L. Croteau & her husband Keith, and Matthew F. Fricker & his wife Courtney of Medway, MA.  Cherished grandfather of Nyrah Fricker, Connor Croteau, Benjamin Croteau, Lucy Fricker, and Henry Fricker.

His funeral and burial in Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
